Welcome Center – Natural Helpers

The Natural Helpers program is designed to bridge the gap between newly arrived immigrants and the community resources they need.

Support Infrastructure

Natural Helpers are immigrants themselves who have successfully navigated the challenges of moving to the United States. Having experienced these hurdles first-hand, they are uniquely positioned to mentor and guide newcomers.

Our culturally competent curriculum provides comprehensive training in leadership development, basic case management, cross-cultural communication, public speaking, advocacy, and local resource navigation. Together, we build a global best-practice model for mutual civic integration.

"The final word is LOVE."

Women participating in the METAS program

Personal Growth & Leadership Development

METAS focuses on two essential components: Personal Growth and Leadership Development.

The program educates and empowers women socially and economically, especially low-income workers such as domestic workers, nannies, and care providers. Regardless of ethnicity, income level, or social status, participants are supported in making healthy choices in every aspect of their lives through one-on-one mentoring, group mentoring, workshops, and career development opportunities.

METAS also strengthens movement leaders who are working to improve the life circumstances and future prospects of children, youth, and families living in low-income communities. Participants explore cultural identity, build self-esteem, and grow their confidence as community voices.

English Classes (ESL / ESOL)

Our English for Speakers of Other Languages program prepares students to communicate effectively in English. We offer all levels, from beginner to advanced. The program has flexible entry/exit options and integrates modern computer-assisted reading and pronunciation software.

Entrepreneurs Latina Academy

LEA DIFY Academy

Celebrating a Remarkable Achievement! ✨🎓

We are proud to celebrate the graduation of 45 talented Latina entrepreneurs who successfully completed the Entrepreneurs Latina Academy program.

Throughout this transformative journey, participants gained valuable skills in leadership, entrepreneurship, business planning, marketing, financial literacy, and professional development. They strengthened their ability to launch, grow, and sustain successful businesses while creating positive change for their families and communities.

This accomplishment was made possible through the generous support of League of United Latin American Citizens and The Coca-Cola Foundation. Their commitment to economic empowerment and advancing opportunities for the Latino community continues to make a lasting impact.

Today, we celebrate more than a graduation—we celebrate resilience, determination, leadership, and the bright future ahead for these 45 incredible women entrepreneurs.

Congratulations to all of our graduates! Your hard work, dedication, and courage inspire us all. We look forward to seeing the businesses, innovations, and community impact you will create in the years to come.

Together, we are building stronger businesses, stronger families, and stronger communities.
